Tell Me Something Tuesday

Welcome to another week of Tell Me Something Tuesday, a weekly meme where the lovely Cambria Hebert posts a question and us bloggers answer. This week's question is:

What is it about books that makes you want to blog about them? What do you love
most about blogging?

I simply love reading books. They are my escape, my salvation at times it seems. They are my world - my other world. ;-) I've been to Paris, Ireland, Rome, Texas, the East Coast, the West Coast, and the Pacific Northwest. I have seen the darker side of Manhattan on a couple occasions, and even the Nevernever (which I'm currently visiting again). I love the experience books give me, the journey they take me on. That is why I blog about them. I love to share my experiences, my life, with others. And when I'm not reading, I'm writing. I love to share those worlds with you, too.

So what is it about blogging that I love so much? THE PEOPLE! I love meeting new people and blogging is one way to not only meet them, but to learn a little about them. Since I still feel I am relatively new to this whole blogging thing, I get tickled pink when I meet new people either through my blog, through other's blogs or through weekly memes, such as this one. :-) As the years go on and I become more adept at what I'm doing, I look forward to meeting new people and sharing a bit of my life with them.

Now it's your turn. What makes you blog about books and why do you love blogging so much?

Happy Tuesday!
EM

  1. Wow! You've been to so many places. Yes I do agree that books are readers escape, I've often feel much better when I curl up with a good book after a long stressful day. It was a fantastic journey! Even though it only lasted for a couple of hours.

Blogging has opened up a new world for me, and I have meet so many people that had helped me in so many ways! To me, we will always feel like an 'amateur' when it comes to blogging :P I'm definitely with you on the "tickling pink" part.

Happy Tuesday to you too and thank you for dropping by my blog :)

  4. "They are my world - my other world." I loved that line. I totally agree that books travel us to so many different places, places we wouldn't experience any other way.

As of blogging, getting in touch and meeting new people is what made me start it too. :)

    1. It's nice to meet you, Veronica! :) (the MC in my upcoming novel is named Veronica, though she goes by Ronnie. Lol) Reading books is the cheapest way to travel, and the most exciting since a lot of the places I've been only exist in the author's imagination. :) Thanks for stopping by!
